According to Salesforce’s chief operating officer, a new round of layoffs may be forthcoming.
In order to increase efficiency, Brian Millham suggested on Friday that the corporation may need to “alter and reorganize.”


In order to increase efficiency, he added, “We’re going to make those movements to restructure and reshape the organization’s structure.” He added that Bain & Co. consultants were assessing operations but had not yet offered any firm advice. In an effort to increase profitability, the software giant declared in January that it will let off around 8,000 workers, or 10% of its workforce.

According to Ashley Stewart and Ellen Thomas of Insider, the majority of the layoffs affected people working in sales and marketing in cities like New York and Atlanta.
