Tesla Inc. announced on Sunday that it delivered 422,875 units in the first quarter. The company’s delivery result fell short of the average forecast of 432,000 units made by analysts tracked by FactSet. Moreover, Tesla TSLA said that 440,808 units were produced throughout the quarter.
The business stated in a release that it had “continued to move towards a more even geographic mix of vehicle production, including Model S/X vehicles in transit to EMEA and APAC,” referring to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as well as Asia-Pacific.
Tesla reported 412,180 deliveries of either the Model 3 or the Model Y, and 10,695 deliveries of either the Model S or the Model X.
